Concerning Symbolics, Inc. business condition, let me clarify
the Company's status.  We have encountered serious problems
which may prevent the Company from completing our reorganization
process.  We are in discussions with our bank and Creditors
Committee which will determine the final outcome for Symbolics.
Our cash flow has deteriorated and a major layoff was
implemented today.  Shortly we will communicate the Company
plans as soon as such plans are approved by the official creditor
committee.  Symbolics continues to provide service and sales to
our customers.  Both Chatsworth (818) 998-3600 and Concord 
(508) 287-1000 locations are open.
